Dr. Joseph Davis – Board of Advisory

Dr. Davis is a business professional with interests focused on new business development and the commercialization of technologies, products and services. Dr. Davis graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelors degree in Engineering and holds a PhD in Solid State Science from Syracuse University.

During his 30 year career in management and leadership of technology ventures, Dr. Davis has held a number of senior positions in entrepreneurial and corporate environments, in for-profit and not-for-profit firms. He has successfully fulfilled P&L responsibilities in situations ranging from start-ups to a $3.6 billion corporation.

Dr. Davis is presently member of the InnoVest Group board of advisory, and Chairman of New Power, an on-site energy service company. Its mission is to support the business success of commercial and light industrial customers by taking price volatility and supply uncertainty out of the energy delivery equation.
